SCREENING IN LOS MONTES DE MARIA

Great success!  The 29th October we had the inmense honor to have our first screenings in the very territory where the main characters come from: Montes de Maria. It was an emotional and unforgettable experience. The screening was held outdoors, with all the people from the town in attendance. We were deeply moved by the connection we made with the community, and we danced and celebrated with them. Having the characters of the movie present made the event even more special. They shared their own experiences and sang for the audience, creating a truly immersive and authentic experience. It was a testament to the power of storytelling and the ability of music to bring people together. To top it off, we were honored to receive an award for best documentary!

We are grateful for the support we received from the community and everyone who has been a part of this journey. We hope that "CATAPUM - Nowhere to Fall" continues to inspire and touch hearts wherever it is screened. Stay tuned for future screenings and updates!

PREVIEW SCREENING AND WORKSHOP IN INDIANA UNIVERISTY

We had the pleasure of visiting Indiana University  for a special screening of "CATAPUM - Nowhere to Fall". The event featured selected scenes from the documentary, followed by a lively conversation and a participatory concert with Carolina Oliveros and Camilo Martinez. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the Bullerengue rhythm and even got up to dance! It was a wonderful opportunity to share our film and connect with a new audience, and we're grateful to everyone who came out to support us.
Shout out to "La comunidad del sancocho" that produced this event.
Our goal is to continue sharing "CATAPUM - Nowhere to Fall" with audiences around the world and to create more opportunities offering a unique experience that goes beyond a simple film screening, with conversatory workshops and participatory concerts that bring the Bullerengue rhythm to life. Stay tuned for future events and join us on this journey of healing and celebration through music.
